A system for every need

We have a complete range of professional tools for sheave/pulley alignment (even the world’s only ATEX / Ex approved!). Choose between “visual” display on targets or digital display. Regardless which one you choose, the result when aligning with Easy-Laser® BTA (Belt Transmission Alignment) is reduced pulley, belt, bearing and seal wear. Vibration levels are also reduced. Increased efficiency also means lower energy costs. For these reasons, BTA normally pays for itself within a few months, regardless of which of the four models you choose.

Side mounting gives many advantages

Easy-Laser® BTA is attached to the side of the pulley. This means that you can easily align machines with V belts, flat belts, timing belts and chain wheels. The magnetic mounting surface’s clever design makes alignment of both small and large pulleys possible. In addition, with a small amount of strong double-sided tape, BTA can also be attached to non-magnetic pulleys. It is versatile!

As the tool is mounted to the side of the pulley (and not in the groove), greater precision is achieved due to a larger mounting surface. In addition, the side of the pulley is usually unaffected by wear, unlike the actual belt groove and the radial edges, which gives a more reliable installation. Sometimes it is also difficult to take readings between the pulleys when the alignment is performed at the motor. This is where a separate display unit simplifies the work.

For small and large pulleys (A/B). A large mounting surface (C) as on the BTA affects accuracy less than a small one with the same fault on the pulley.
