For straightness measurement of bores and bearing journals
For straightness measurement of bores and bearing journals in diesel engines (for example crank and camshaft bearings), gearboxes, propeller shaft installations, as well as positioning workpieces in machine tools. Measures both full and half bearing positions with equal simplicity. Extremely stable design for maximum accuracy, resolution 0.001 mm [0.05 mils]. For use both in production and out in the field.
With the standard system, bores from 100 mm to 500 mm [3.9-19.7”] can be measured (accessories for other diameters made to order). Measurement distance up to 40 m [132 feet]. The system automatically calculates the bores’ positions in relation to each other both horizontally and vertically.

CHARACTERISTICS AND FUNCTIONS
Offset hub for easy adjustment in the X and Y axes of the laser beam
Measurement points can be added, removed or re-measured at any point during the measurement process
Possible to offset the reference line in the measurement program
Handles up to 150 measuring points for straightness
Program that guides you through the measuring procedure speeds up work
Expandable with the rest of the Easy-Laser® range
2 year warranty
The points can be measured and adjusted in any order. The measured reference line (A) can be offset (B) in the measurement program. This is especially useful when measuring and adjusting turbine diaphragms and bearing positions that have different centre lines due to thermal expansion.
